"Mister Osborn, would you say you belong in prison?"
"I do not."
- A court mandated psychotherapy session, the location of Osborn's incarceration is not known due to the sensitivity of the matter.
"Why do you feel that way?"
"Because I didn't do anything wrong. I've been saying it time and time again but no one will listen because he's got you wrapped around his finger, his little stupid finger that I came very close to ripping off and feeding to stray dogs for fun."
"Mister Osborn, remember anger leads you no where."
"I'm not angry, I'm honest. Spider-Man is domestic terrorist and before I could finish the job they stopped me. It's all one gigantic cover-up but sooner than later the top will be blown off and I'll be the hero."
"Are you taking your medication?"
"I am. I never miss a dose."
"Do you still hear HIS voice in your head? Or has it ceased?"
"I don't know what you're talking about, I've never heard voices. I'm simply Norman Osborn, ex-CEO of OsCorp because of the scheme to cut me out of the business. It's a conspiracy, I'm adamant on that. Once it comes to fruition you'll see, all of you will see."
"So you believe that HIS voice, The Green Goblin never existed?"
"I don't know who The Green Goblin is, surely it isn't me."
"Then how do you explain being revealed as such by Spider-Man?"
"That's just it, he's manipulating you. He's part of the agenda to rip me from OsCorp because I didn't want to get my hands dirty with the government's problems. Spider-Man works for them, he's part of the new world order --- one that I refuse to be apart of. I was ripped from my bed in the middle of the night, bound and gagged, thrown into what I presume to be the back of a van or a truck and hauled to an unknown location. Not before long I woke up with a thunderous headache and was told by men in black ski-masks.."
"Ski-masks?"
"Yes, ski-masks; that if I wanted to live, if I wanted to fix the relationship with my son Harry I would do what they say or they'd kill us both. What am I supposed to do? I would never put my son's life in jeopardy, I went along with their plan."
"Why is this the first we're hearing about this?"
A pause lasted for about four or five seconds and Norman gave no reply.
"Mister Osborn?"
"I wasn't clearheaded. I was angry and feared for Harry's life, but now that I know he's safe I can come clean about the truth."
"You've been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic; you suffer from extreme hallucinations, how do I know this isn't one of them?"
"I'm on the meds doctor, I haven't missed a dose. Test me, blood... urine, whatever you need to do. I'm not lying about this, why would I? What do I have to gain from telling you this? All I'm doing is putting myself under the guillotine because they can get me at any time. Spider-Man didn't come from no where, he was created by the new world order to gain your trust and approval, to kiss kid's foreheads and sign autographs now but it'll all come crashing down. Just you wait but by then it'll be too late."
"I can share what you've told me with my associates but there is very little reason to believe what you're saying."
"That's something you've gotta figure out. I know who I am and I know I am not capable of doing any of those things that I've been unfairly charged with. I would never murder anyone, let alone a young woman who may have gone to school with my son. I am not a monster. With all the attention on me in here, the real monster is out there among you all. Is it normal for a man to be able to crawl on walls? To shoot web from his wrists? Think about that, ask yourself who's safer --- me in here, or you out there? It's no coincidence that whenever he pops up, something equally as terrifying isn't far behind, they're trying to gain your trust and approval and from what I've seen it... it's worked. You're all confused, you think I'm immoral and a criminal- a murderer, that's what he is, that's what Spider-Man is."
"We'll let the jury will decide that."
